After going through two application rounds at the German UWC office, I was awarded a scholarship to the United World College South East Asia in Singapore. I brought my perspective on cultural and societal topics, climate change actions and social engagement to Singapore while taking in so much knowledge from the other scholars, day students, teachers and everyone who is part of the UWC community over the two years I spent at the school. While obtaining my IB diploma, I participated in many extracurricular projects in school and the boarding house, got to know lifelong friends and gained valuable skills for my life after UWC, way beyond university. As part of the UWC community, I get the chance to meet new friends, keep in contact with acquaintances and offer help to newbies who just joined a school or graduated UWC.

As mentioned, I wrote a blog about my time at the United World College South East Asia. If you are interested in my high school experience, if you are planning on applying at UWC or if you have any questions, check it out: https://annawischnewski03.wixsite.com/uwcsea-blog

If you have any questions, no matter what role you play within the UWC community, feel free to fill in the form on this website or email me!
